We have done a lot of unschooling but are using a more classical approach right now, its taken a good while to get back into a routine. Mind you my eldest seems to be at that snappy age no matter what you do! We now get some work done early along with individual reading then go onto our shared book and story of the world/project. But if there is so much as a few days break I find my eldest and youngest have a really hard time getting back into things. Hopefully that will change soon for both of us:)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07865415952130476652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5255877501892467740.post-44875446962115736202012-04-18T14:07:07.372-04:002012-04-18T14:07:07.372-04:00I can't wait to get there!
I think it helps ...I can't wait to get there!

I think it helps that HOPEFULLY the girls are starting to see all the fun stuff that we have time for in the day if they focus in the morning. Today was our first fuss-free school morning in a while, and once it was done the girls played, read, each watched their "once choice" on Netflix, went to the park for a long time, and now they're kicked back in the living room listening to an audiobook before their Magic Tree House Club meeting. And it's only 2pm!juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18141123092139829629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5255877501892467740.post-17117333110188667922012-04-18T12:57:37.429-04:002012-04-18T12:57:37.429-04:00I totally understand you. This school year has bee...I totally understand you. This school year has been a hard one for me too. I switch from Montessori-Waldorf to a more classical approach with worksheets etc

Now we are on the fase that we can do school work AND fun work without more complaining from the kids so patience is the key.Sylviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12770472944041245230noreply@blogger.com
