Let me try to brush either child's hair, and she will respond as if I am attempting to rip it out by the roots. Let a sister take brush in hand, however...

That's so awesome. I remember that sometimes when I couldn't sleep, my older sister would play Monopoly with me into the wee hours of the morning, paying me when I landed in jail and on her places so that the game would last longer.
It's great to have memories like these for the days that don't go so well...
