My Latest: Boxes and Broken Toys

a review of the creepy post-Apocalyptic novel, Bird Box

and a tutorial for repairing the broken leg of a toy horse by inserting a metal pin

Now that it's February, you may expect that I will only be willingly discussing T-shirt leotards and Girl Scout cookies for the next month.

Girl Scout cookies!

T-shirt leotards!

At least February is a short month, right?

Back from our trip East and excited to read and pin that surgery post!

I brought home 9 of my grandmothers Christmas/winter themed sweatshirts and I plan to make a blanket out of them for Emma.

Oh, and I really need to make her some more leotards.

That was a whirlwind trip!

I would LOVELOVELOVE to make an ugly Christmas sweater quilt!!!

And yes, more leotards. I've been putting off the making of some desperately-needed leotards, but I must make them!

Yeah, I love my family, but by the end of a few days my sanity requires that I head home. Next trip we might actually plan to play the tourist around New England so we can see the family, but not be stuck in their pocket.

I may actually see if I can make two smaller quilts as my youngest nephew would absolutely LOVE that and truly appreciate it.
